Our Large White X Landrace pigs are reared on site and fed on home grown cereals.
The Pigs are slaughtered at approximately 26 weeks of age. As most of our pigs are reared on site they are only transported a few hundred yards to the abattoir meaning that stress of transportation for the pig is brought down to a minimum, meaning that the quality of the meat is of a maximum. From there on our team of skilled butchers hand cut and prepare the pork into a wide variety of products, including sausages and burgers.
